.all i wanted to do today was sort through old pieces of velvet and lace, so that is exactly what i did .the tiny rooms of the cottage are filled with the scent of lavender and if you linger, you will discover a hint of rosemary there as well
.i've always tucked little fabric pillows of herbs within the old linens, tied them with ribbons like tiny gifts .whenever i return they are such a lovely thing to discover, to walk nearby .even the slightest disturbance creates a soft waft of scent .snips from the past should evoke memories, and this scent always does
.now everything is neatly tucked back into each of the boxes, tied together .ready to share, sell or keep .a delightful day of progress
