I am just getting started with this yummy blog thingie ... Such fun it promises to be! I did put links to my other websites, but as you might have found, they aren't all working yet. I just sort of jumped in with both feet even though I wasn't quite ready and will add things as I can. Promise.
Is it confusing to have links to sites there & not working I wonder? Oh well. There they are for you to feel curiosity about. Before I began this blog I had rolled the risks of starting ahead of schedule around in my head & asked myself, What is the consequence of doing nothing? Then a friend said just the right thing at just the right time. She said I wasn't alone in my fears and to just leap (bughugs Sandy) & so I have. I chose to launch the blog, play it day to day, play it by ear ... Working on the missing pieces as I go along.
Now, I understand that risk is the possibility of losing something, but it also gives the possibility of gaining something you truly value. Something you really want & need in your life. It offers future possibilities! If you want to move forward you are going to have to take a risk.
So in other words, I figured if I want to make changes in my life, if I want to overcome procrastination, self-doubt and fear, if more than anything else I aspire to live my dream, then I have to take the risk of turning the potential of opportunity into reality. And so ::SPLASH:: Both feet into the water. Because I think it is not what you get from the risk-taking but what you become because of taking it.
I do apologize for the missing pieces you find. I know how disappointing it can be to anticipate something and then be told you must wait. Never give up on me! Although it may take time to finish everything, I will finish ... & I promise to make it worth the wait. Meanwhile, you will find tidbits of my progress here. Stop by. Read. Enjoy. Click the links. One day ::MaGicLy:: with one click of a mouse you will be whisked away to an enchanted world. A world even beyond this crazy blog. One that exists between real and imagine. Where faeries live in the cupboards & mice live in rolltop desks & have shoppes in glass slippers. A place where the Blue Bird Cafe really is for the birds, and baby squirrels sleep with ghost kittens in baskets. A place where everyone is welcomed. No questions asked.
I hope you will visit.
Until you can, until I can find enough cyber faerie dust to transport you all there at once ... Here I am. Standing up to my knees in the stream. Building houseboats for faeries at the waters edge & hanging bells in all the tree limbs I can reach. Taking in each moment for the gift that it is. And probably more often than not, I'll be taking risks. Yeppers. I'm running with scissors.
